By Susan Casey
With your vote, this upcoming P-Patch can win $10,000 in the Umpqua Bank Build Your Block contest.
To vote on-line, go through your Facebook page to www.facebook.com/umpquabank for the Magnolia branch and vote for the 'Magnolia P-Patch toolshed and tools'. Voting is Mar 12-31. You can only vote once for us on Facebook. Note: I found just typing in 'umpqua' in the search line on the Facebook line worked best. Then look for apps or Build your Block line.
Plus, you can vote in person once a day throughout the voting period at the Magnolia (2236 32nd Ave W) Umpqua bank next to Bartells.

| New Gardener Orientation!
By Donna Kalka
This year we are having the new gardener orientation in the P-Patch directly after the Gardener Gathering. So this Saturday, March 17th, at 12:30pm the leadership team, block leaders, and veteran gardeners wishing to attend will greet all this years new gardeners! Here the focus is more specific to the new gardeners, and is also when you will be given a tour of the garden and your new plot! Please be prepared for any adverse weather...bundle up...we will be outside! |
Volunteer to Maintain the Chipper
I show gardeners how to use the chipper chopper but I know nothing about keeping a motor in good operating shape. Please volunteer to take on maintenance -- e.g fall prep for winter, spring tune-up.

We have a blog! With this blog, we will have more communication availability than the newsletter alone. It is a great spot for conversation to be had and people can sign up, add input, and even ask questions. Here is the link to the blog.
Interbay P-Patch Blog
Also in the blog is a link to our Garden Activity Calendar. When I get information for an activity (work parties, for example) submitted for the newsletter, I will also add them to the calendar. This way we all have one location to find information. You can also look ahead to see what is happening. If you want something added to the calendar, send me an email as you would a newsletter submission. It's that simple.
Any questions? Email me... Terry at interbayppatchgarden@gmail.com |
